marloth park

Marloth Park is a nature reserve directly adjacent to the Kruger National Park. We are separated from Kruger Park only by the Crocodile River and a fence.

Geelslang Paradise is located in Marloth Park which is home to many wild animals that roam freely around, such as zebra, kudus, wildebeast, giraffe, impala, mongoose, warthog and bush baby. During the day, the park is perfect for riverside walks or bush exploration.

Marloth Park has all the facilities you need for a short stay: restaurants, shops and an ATM.

Komatipoort is the closest town (only 20 car minutes away) and Crocodile Bridge the closest entrance to Kruger National Park (20 car minutes away).

Kruger national park

Kruger National Park is our next-door neighbour. Geelslang Paradise is just a 20 km drive from the Crocodile Bridge gate. This is your best entrance gate to the Kruger National Park. This vast, world famous park is a must-see, offering opportunities to spot the big five in it's own habitat from the comfort of your own car or a safari vehicle.

There is so much to see, you could easily spend weeks exploring this wonder of nature. And one warning, once bitten by the bush-bug you can get addicted to Kruger.

Paradise in the bush

Lots of things to explore in Marloth. For example: search for the big 4 in Marloth's own Game Reserve 'Lionspruit'. Make a slide at the Bushveld Atlantis water slides (heated pools) or go for a swim in the pool at Bos.restaurant or Henk van Rooyen Park when you want an even bigger pool to swim in than at the house.

Play mini-golf or tennis, visit the restaurants or enjoy stunning lookout points into Kruger National Park. One of the best lookout point is 'Krans Look Out' which is the closest to Geelslang Paradise.

During the day, the park is perfect for riverside walks or explore Marloth Park by car or bicycle. Occasionally predators, like lion or leopard, enter Marloth Park from the Kruger. For your own safety it is not allowed to walk and cycle in the park after dark.

Marloth Park has several shops like a grocery shop,  butcher, hardware shop, bakery, coffee corner, water shop, postoffice, petrol station, liquor store etc.

There are enough restaurants where you can have a nice diner in an easy atmosphere. Each restaurant has it's own qualities, beautiful views, the best steak or pizza, great cocktails and of course a very kind staff!
