Building a piece of paradise
in a nature conservancy

We wanted to make a design for a home that embraces nature. Where you can sit on the patio, relax, listen to the sounds of the bush, have lots of privacy. We also wanted a spacious living area with everything you need, used to having at home and more.

Perhaps you will notice, we have a few special trees on our property. The house was moved several times and adjusted a bit to preserve them. We are guests in this environment and we want to treat our surroundings with respect. So the trees staid and the house moved a bit, a corner was added and we made a special space for an other tree in the middle of the patio. The logo of Geelslang Paradise refers to these trees.

TWO BEDROOMS WITH ENSUITE BATHROOMS

You will find a luxurious master bedroom with an extra lounge area. The en-suite bathroom has a bath, toilet, inside and outside shower. The master bedroom has it's own patio. The second bedroom is smaller, but also has it's own bathroom ensuite, with shower and toilet.

Both bedrooms have a semi walk-in closet, airconditioning, fans and two separate mattresses on the bed. The sliding doors are equipped with screen doors. You can leave the screen doors locked during the night and the sliding doors open. Let the sounds of the bush come in and uninvited guests will stay out.

find a piece of paradise outside

The house is built as if it embraces the bush and wildlife. You'll find a large roofed patio with braai, round diningtable and lounge set.

When you wake up you can sit on the patio in front of the master bedroom with your first cup of coffee and some wildlife visiting. After that you can take a refreshing dip in the pool.

When it gets dark the atmosphere becomes more intimate and tranquil. Have a braai with your loved ones, gather around a fire in the boma and to listen to the sounds of the bush.

Enjoy this little piece of paradise in the bush.
